WWE NXT Report – October 25th, 2012


ALEX RILEY vs. JINDER MAHAL

Riley and Mahal trade holds. Riley with a second-rope should tackle but a knee to the gut from Mahal puts him on the attack. Riley finally makes a comeback, and he manages a running schoolboy for the win.

TRENT BARRETA vs. JAKE CARTER

Carter ducks a running cross-body and Barreta eats the ropes. Barreta suddenly fires up to finally get some traction, but a Ryback-like clothesline plants Barreta. Barreta elbows outs of a suplerplex attempt and follows with the corkscrew moonsault for a nearfall.

Carter dodges the Gobstopper Knee and follows with a big overhead belly to belly suplex for a close nearfall. Carter gets frustrated. They run the ropes and Barreta hits him with the Gobstopper Knee for the win.

WWE NXT Report – October 17th, 2012


BO DALLAS vs. JOHNNY CURTIS

Curtis gets the worst in an early feeling out process, but Curtis turns it around. There’s a “Bo’s a Diva” chant. Dallas tries to make a comeback, but Curtis back body drops him halfway to the moon and follows with a knee drop from the ropes. Dallas fires up and beats Curtis silly. Dallas with a spear for the win.

WWE NXT Report – October 11th, 2012

Bo Dallas vs. Johnny Curtis

They lock up and Bo works on the arm and takes Curtis to the mat and gets a near fall. Bo puts Johnny in the corner and hits a few clotheslines in the corner followed by a clothesline for a near fall. Curtis with a back elbow to the head and then he kicks Dallas in the face and back of the head. Bo punches Curtis in the midsection but Johnny with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Curtis with a hard Irish whip. Curtis works on the neck by standing on Bo’s head.

Bo gets to his feet and he punches Curtis in the midsection and head. Curtis with a back body drop and then he goes to the turnbuckles for a knee drop and he barely misses Dallas. Curtis with an Irish whip but Bo comes out of the corner and hits a belly-to-belly suplex and then Bo hits a spear for the three count.

Winner : Bo Dallas

WWE NXT Report 10/3/12

Drew McIntyre vs. Richie Steamboat

They lock up and Richie works on the injured arm and Drew gets to the ropes to force the break. Drew with a punch on the break followed by a forearm.Steamboat climbs the turnbuckles to punch Drew but Drew pushes Steamboat off and he chops Drew. Steamboat with more punches but Drew with an Irish whip. Steamboat tries for a float over but McIntyre with an injury to the ribs for a near fall.

Richie gets to his feet and he connects with shoulders and punches but Drew with an elbow to the head and Steamboat is sent to the apron. Drew with a boot to the head as he continues to work on Steamboat. Drew gets him on his shoulders again but Richie was able to escape. Richie with running forearms followed by a super kick. Kassius Ohno comes to ringside to distract Steamboat and the referee. Drew hits Steamboat from behind with the cast and then Drew hits the Future Shock DDT for the three count.

WWE NXT Report - Sept 28, 2012


Michael McGillicutty vs. Bo Dallas

McGillicutty shoves Bo before the bell even rings and the ref has to separate them. The men trade punches in the ring and Bo sends him in and plants him face-first twice. Bo hits an elbow to the chin to send McGillicutty to the outside and goes out to work him over all around the ring.

Bo gives chase and continues to pound him and sends him back in for 2. McGillicutty gets in a shot to the face and drives Bo into the steel post.McGillicutty works the arm and proceeds to stomp on the hurt arm. McGillicutty hits punches to Bo on the apron.

Bo fights back and sunset flips over the ropes and gets 2 in the ring. They trade shots in the ring and Bo hits a flurry of offense with the crowd hot for it. Bo drags him in and McGillicutty blindsides him with a forearm and a running neckbreaker for the win.

Winner : Michael McGillicutty

WWE NXT Report – Sept 20th, 2012

 
Trent Barreta vs. Johnny Curtis

Curtis with a waist lock but Trent with a drop toe hold and Johnny escapes and goes to the ropes. Trent with a chop and punches but Curtis with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Curtis with an Irish whip but Barreta with a back elbow. Trent goes up top but Johnny pulls Trent’s leg and he falls on the top turnbuckle and rope. Curtis works on the injured arm and then he snap mares Trent and applies a top wrist lock.

Johnny puts Trent on the top turnbuckle and then he tries for a superplex but Trent works over Curtis and hits a sunset flip powerbomb for a near fall.Trent with a chop but Johnny chops back. Johnny with a kick to the midsection and then he tries to go for the arm. Trent with the double jump back elbow and then he goes up top and hits the corkscrew leg lariat for a near fall. Trent tries for a tornado DDT but Johnny blocks it and hits a Northern Lights suplex into the turnbuckles and Johnny gets a few near falls.Johnny goes up top but misses the leg drop when Trent moves out of the way. Trent with the flying knee to the head and he gets the three count.

WWE NXT Report – Sept 12th, 2012

Richie Steamboat vs. Kassius Ohno

Steamboat’s armdrags and headlocks annoy Ohno, but Steamboat continues to dominate. Ohno can’t get any kind of offense going, but a thumb to the eye gets him some room, to the referee’s displeasure.

The argument with the referee gives Steamboat time to recover and go back on the attack, so Ohno rakes the eyes again. The referee disqualifies Ohno.

Winner : Richie Steamboat

Richie Steamboat vs. Kassius Ohno

Steamboat applies a headlock and hits a shoulderblock for a quick 1. Richie sends Ohno in and follows but Ohno gets a big boot up. Richie quickly shakes it off and hits a series of offense but Ohno thumbs him in the eye. Ohno gets on one knee and pleads with the ref that it was an accident. Richie lands kicks from a seated position out of the corner but Ohno goes back to the eye and the bell rings.

Winner by disqualification : Richie Steamboat

WWE NXT Report 9/5/12

JASON JORDAN & MIKE DALTON vs. HUNICO & CAMACHO – Tag Team match

Dalton and Camacho start, and Dalton and Jordan immediate double-team him. Jordan keeps Camacho on the mat with power, but Camacho responds with a big spinebuster. Jordan gets isolated by Hunico and Camacho. Hunico shows surprising strength for his size, lifting Jordan off the mat with a pumphandle hold and body-slamming him. Jordan finally tags in Dalton, who takes Hunico down with speed. Dalton with a really amazing move, reversing a flapjack into a huracanrana into a roll-through into a cover for a nearfall. The ref gets distracted by Jordan, letting Hunico land a brainbuster for the win, as Camacho keeps Jordan from breaking up the tag.

WWE NXT Report 8/30/12

Mike Dalton and Jason Jordan versus Hunico and Camacho

Camacho and Dalton start things off but Jordan with a quick tag and double sledge to the arm from the turnbuckles. Jordan with a shoulder tackle or two. Jordan with a drop kick but he misses a clothesline. Camacho with a spinebuster and he chokes Jordan in the ropes. Hunico kicks Jordan from the apron while Camacho talks to the referee. Camacho with a belly-to-back suplex and Hunico is tagged in. Camacho with a slam and Hunico with a slingshot senton followed by a kick to the back and Hunico gets a near fall. Hunico wih knees but Jordan with an Irish whip. Hunico rolls through and picks up Jordan for a slam and gets a near fall.

Camacho tags in and he kicks Jordan followed by a butterfly suplex and knee drop for a near fall. Jordan lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt and he hits a drop kick and tags in Dalton. Hunico tags in as well and Dalton with a running forearm followed by a spinning heel kick and running back elbow into the corner. Dalton with a rana on Hunico for a near fall. Dalton stops Camacho on the apron followed by a shoulder to Hunico.Dalton with a missile drop kick to Hunico but Camacho breaks up the cover. The referee takes Jordan to the apron and Camacho drops Dalton’s neck on the top rope and then Hunico gets the three count after a spinning Argentine back breaker for the three count.

Derrick Bateman vs. Antonio Cesaro (with Aksana)
They lock up and Cesaro with forearms to the midsection followed by a hip lock take down. Cesaro with a head butt to Bateman followed by punches and forearms in the corner. Bateman with a suplex and he gets a near fall. Cesaro with head butts to the sternum followed by a buttefly suplex for a near fall. Cesaro with a cravate and take down followed by a leaping forearm to the back of the head for a near fall.Bateman with a belly-to-back suplex to escape the hold. Bateman with punches to Cesaro followed by a few clotheslines. Bateman with a splash into the corner and then he hits an STO but Cesaro rolls to the apron. Bateman misses a running knee into the turnbuckles and Cesaro with a deadlift side salto followed by the Gotch Style Neutralizer for the three count.

Jinder Mahal vs Richie Steamboat in a Gold Rush Tournament Semi-Final Match

They lock up, Mahal with a forearm to the back and punches to Steamboat followed by a European uppercut. Steamboat with a chop and punches but Mahal with a knee.Steamboat with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Steamboat with an arm drag into an arm bar. Mahal gets back to his feet but Steamboat continues to work on the arm. Mahal with a hot shot to Steamboat and then he hits a running knee to the head but he can only get a near fall.Steamboat with punches and forearms to Mahal followed by a chop and forearm. Steamboat with a running forearm and clotheslines. Mahal tries for a belly-to-back suplex and Steamboat escapes. Steamboat with a sunset flip for a near fall and Mahal with a neck breaker for a near fall. Mahal sets for a superplex but Steamboat knocks Mahal to the mat. Mahal applies the camel clutch and Steamboat tries to fight through the damage to his back but he taps out.

WWE NXT Report 8/3/12



Gold Rush Quarter-Final: Richie Steamboat vs. Leo Kruger

Steamboat goes right to 2 covers for a 2 count. Kruger slaps him in the face and runs away as Steamboat chases him around the ring. Kruger fakes a knee injury and gets a shot in on Steamboat. Kruger stomps Steamboat and showboats to the crowd. Kruger stays in control with a headlock. Kruger hits a spinebuster for 2.Steamboat counters out of a sleeper but Kruger still keeps him down. Steamboat gets a boot up in the corner and they trade shots in the center of the ring. Steamboat goes up top and connects with a missile dropkick and gets 2. Kruger ducks a clothesline and applies a sleeper as Steamboat starts to fade.
Steamboat reaches the ropes and Kruger stomps him on the mat. Steamboat counters a clothesline off the ropes and hits his own for the win.

Winner : Richie Steamboat

WWE NXT Report 7.28.12


Derrick Bateman and Bo Dallas vs.Johnny Curtis and Michael McGillicutty 

Side headlock from Bo into the ropes, and he fires back with a hard. Curtis is quick to tag in McG. McG misses a clothesline and Bo hits an inverted Atomic Drop then tags in Bateman. Bateman with a kick to the gut then a chop to the ground. He tags Bo back in and they hit a double hip toss, sending McG to the outside. Bo follows and heads around the ring, then comes to the heel corner, pulls Johnny down and McG baseball slides into McG. 

Curtis attacks, he is the legal man apparently, rolls in and drops an elbow, then lifts Bo up and tags in McG. We get a backbreaker from Curtis followed by a boot to the face from McG. Cover, but Bateman breaks it up. McG with the Anchorman faced chin lock. Bo elbows out of it, backs into the corner with an elbow cor Curtis, then runs into a float over, into a roll up by Bo fo a pin. He gets a 1, but Curtis breaks it up. Tag to Curtis, and he pins Bo for 2. From behind, he gets a double chicken wing with a knee to the back. Bo tries to turn it around, but Curtis sends him into the corner. Curtis runs into an elbow, though. 

McG runs in, and Bo pulls the ropes down. Tag to Bateman, Curtis runs into a shoulder. Bateman with a clothesline, another, one more. He sends Curtis to the corner then hits a flapjack onto Curtis. Bateman with a running, swinging neckbreaker and a pin for 2. Bo Dallas sends McG to the outside. The ref checks on Bo. Bateman gets his leg pulled by McG, then Curtis sets him up and hits a sit out body slam into a pin for 3.

Winner : Johnny Curtis and Michael McGillicutty

WWE NXT Report 7/19/ 2012




Tamina vs. Kaitlyn

They lock up and Tamina gets a knee in to the gut and sends her in and hits her with a chop. Tamina hits an armdrag and Kaitlyn responds with her own leg-takedown. Tamina uses her power to hit a series of chops for 2.Kaitlyn gets two near falls. Kaitlyn uses the rope to choke out Tamina then uses her powerful legs for a body scissors.. Tamina hits a flurry of offense and hits a bodyslam. She tries to go up top but Kaitlyn grabs her foot and hits a side Russian Leg Sweep and applies an armbar that Tamina powers out of. Tamina hits a Samoan Drop and goes up top and delivers the Superfly Splash for the win.

Winner : Tamina
