Show opens with a segment that sees Alberto Del Rio call out Sheamus only for Ricardo Rodriguez to enter with a Sheamus costume on and cut a promo as the world heavyweight champion. That is until the man himself showed up to brawl up the ramp.
Teddy Long shows up suddenly and reveals John Laurinaitis left the show in his hands this week. So he booked Sheamus vs. Kane for later in the show and Del Rio vs. Khali for the next segment.
Alberto actually compete against against The Great Khali as I just expected him to walk out of the match.
With Ryback already on this show, Damien Sandow just getting off the ground, Antonio Cezaro beginning his domination, and Sin Cara just coming back.
Sin Cara went over on Drew McIntyre. He apparently botched a big spot really bad, as he usually does, but it will likely get edited off the broadcast.Ryback squashed a couple more jobbers
Christian and Cody Rhodes were involved in a segment that saw Rhodes destroy the Peep Show set before they verbally got after each other.
Rhodes tried to throw dirt on Christian's recent babyface turn but Christian explained he had a revelation when inducting Edge into the Hall of Fame that he wants to be remembered for winning titles instead of whining about getting one more match. That's pitch perfect.
Michael Cole grabbed a microphone and told everyone to move on past Jim Ross. That set up Ross's music hitting only to see Hornswoggle come out dressed like him.
Kane was interviewed backstage and it was revealed that AJ was stalking him.
Sheamus defeated Kane via disqualification after a run in from Del Rio. He came in and sent Kane out to attack Sheamus but Kane came back to return the favor. Once he did, he saw AJ on the ramp making googly eyes at him again and ended up catching a beat down from Sheamus.
