REPORT : WWE Superstars 28 JUNE 2012

Kofi Kingston vs. Michael McGillicutty

They lock up .Kofi with a waistlock and McGillicutty clamps on a side headlock. Kingston fires him off but eats a shoulderblock. Kingston goes for the arm and the fans begin a "Kofi" chant. McGillicutty takes over and stomps him in the corner; he hits a nice snap-suplex for a one count. He whips Kofi into the ropes but Kingston uses a unique counter I've never seen before, he bounces his back against the ropes while leaping into the air, he clotheslines McGillicutty to the floor and then McGillicutty tries to trip him up a few times but fails. Kofi levels him with a crossbody off the apron.McGillicutty whips Kingston into another one and follows up with a pendulum backbreaker. McGillicutty bends him backwards from the ringpost and gets two.

Kofi is in comeback mode so it is countered into a back suplex. Both men are down though. Kingston begins the real comeback with chops and a dropkick. He hits the Superman punch and McGillicutty is trying to escape. He kicks Kofi away and he winds up on the apron so he nails a springboard frog-crossbody, which gets two. Kofi tries a second rope crossbody but McGillicutty dropkicks him out of the sky,  he only gets two. They battle a reversal sequence where the McGillicutter is countered into Trouble in Paradise and Kingston gets the victory. 

WINNER : Kofi Kingston 

Epico (w/Primo & Rosa Mendes) vs. Darren Young (w/Titus O'Neil & A.W.)

He tosses Young into the corner until Darren gets a boot in. Epico is unfazed and lassos him in a hurracanrana. Young retreats to the apron where Epico gives chase. He pounds Young on the apron until the referee breaks it up. Young gets a trio of nearfalls and a backdrop suplex. He applies a chinlock. Young maintains his chinlock until Epico tries a comeback. Darren tries another back suplex but Epico quickly shifts his weight and winds up on to for two. Young applies a body scissor, Epico fights free and hits a jawjacker. They run the ropes and Epico hits a dropkick. Epico begins the comeback with clotheslines and rolling back suplexes. AW pops up in the apron and draws Primo and Rosa over which allows O'Neil to cut off a Lionsault attempt. Young nails the gut check and gets the three count.

WINNER : Darren Young 

The Usos vs. Hunico & Camacho

Hunico and Jimmy start off and Hunico armdrags him and nips up. Jimmy is unimpressed and chops the garbage out of him. Jey tags and the Usos hit double elbow drops for a nearfall. Hunico manages to take over and forces Jey into his corner and tags in Camacho. He drops his head for a backdrop and takes an uppercut and Jey Uso's spinning reverse forearm.Hunico provides a distraction which allows Camacho a spinebuster. Camacho slams Jey in his corner for a Hunico Hilo that nets two. Hunico applies a front chancery and tags in Camacho,  he hits a back suplex and drops a leg for two.Hunico tags and hits a slingshot double stomp and applies a chinlock. Hunico taunts Jimmy on the apron, which proves fatal, as Jey backdrops him and make the hot tag to his brother. Jimmy runs in and clotheslines a lot, he hits a shuffle side kick and the press-Samoan drop. Jimmy heads to the top but Camacho distracts so Hunico crotches him. Camacho runs in and takes out Jey but the referee puts Camacho out of the ring allowing the Usos a backdrop into a superkick and get the three count. 

WINNER : The Usos 

Kane vs. Heath Slater

Slater tries a side headlock but gets shoulderblocked onto his ass. Kane stalks him and they lock up again. Slater tries an arm wringer but Kane causally reverses and armbar lifts him. Kane pounds him in the ropes and drops him with a knee lift, a low dropkick nets two. He head-butts him in the corner and then catches Slater on a float-over. Heath slips over and kicks his knee out. Kane blocks a whip and sends Slater onto the apron; Slater comes back clipping Kane's knee again and actually manages Kane to his knees. He finally floors him with a missile dropkick and gets a zero count. He heads to the top but leaps into an uppercut. Kane hits a corner clothesline followed by a side slam; he heads to the top for the diving clothesline.Kane wins.
