WWE Smackdown Report 8/03/12

Non-Title Match: Sheamus  vs. Tensai

Lock up to begin, and they battle around and to a corner. Off the ropes and they collide and stand off. Sheamus tries to work the arm, they trade shots and Tensai slams him to a corner and works him over with shoulder blocks. Sheamus fires back, rights to Tensai in the corner, and then Sheamus tackles him and delivers mounted rights, Tensai misses an elbow drop.

Diving knee by Sheamus and then a basement dropkick sends Tensai to the floor. Sheamus battles back, boot to Tensai and then a clothesline to the floor.Sheamus battles back, but gets slammed to the corner. Vader splash in the corner, and a cover gets 2 for Tensai. And now the dreaded bear hug by Tensai. Clubbing shots by Sheamus, but Tensai works a shot to the kidneys, and Sheamus is down. Rights by Tensai, and a running boot drops Sheamus, and that gets 2.

Sheamus grabs him from off the top, Tensai fights back and then Sheamus nails him and sends him to the floor. Tensai tries to roll back in, rights by Sheamus, ties Tensai in the ropes, Tensai with the head butt, big slam by Sheamus and a cover for 2. Tensai pulls him back in, tree slam connects, and Tensai covers for a close 2. Boot by Tensai, to the corner and misses a charge, Sheamus says piss off and nails the brogue kick and for the win.

Winner : Sheamus 

Non-Title Match: Santino  vs. Antonio Cesaro w/Aksana

Santino with a float over, and a cover for 2. Clothesline by Cesaro, and then the gut wrench suplex and a cover gets Antonio Cesaro 2. Chinlock by Cesaro, Santino fights out, hip toss and then the diving head butt. Santino preps for the cobra, shot to the gut by Cesaro stops that.

Santino escapes the Gotch piledriver, COBRA on Cesaro, but he has a foot under the ropes. Cesaro slams Santino to the barricade, and then rolls back into the ring. Santino back in, Gotch piledriver  and  for the win.

Winner : Antonio Cesaro 

Daniel Bryan, The Miz, and Dolph Ziggler vs. Chris Jericho, Kane, and Christian

Christian and Bryan to begin things. Bryan attacks early, off the ropes and after some counters, a shoulder block by Christian. Christian tags in Kane, flying clothesline to Bryan and a cover for 2. Corner clothesline by Kane, and a big boot follows and Kane covers for 2. 

Tag to Miz, Kane whoops his ass for a while in the corner, works the arm and tags in Jericho. Chops by Jericho, off the ropes and a back elbow connects. Ziggler distract Jericho, allowing Miz to take control and tag Ziggler in. Jericho tackles him right away, off the ropes and a corner clothesline by Jericho.

Christian with a roll up for 2, but as he gets up, he then gets leveled by a clothesline for 2. Tag to Bryan, NO kicks to Christian, and a cover will get 2. Tag back to Ziggler, elbow drop follows and a cover gets 2. Tag back to Miz, kick to the head of Christian and another cover gets 2. Christian fights back, second rope elbow on Miz and BOTH men are down. 

Tags to Bryan and Jericho, and Jericho is on fire springboard dropkick to Ziggler. Bulldog to Bryan. LIONSAULT gets 2 as Ziggler breaks that up. Kane in, but the heels dump him. Christian takes Miz to the floor, Jericho looks for the walls and locks them in on Bryan. He taps, but Vickie distracts the ref. Ziggler in with the MITB case, eats a code breaker and flies to the floor. Bryan rolls up Jericho for the victory.
Winner : Daniel Bryan, The Miz, and Dolph Ziggler 

Jinder Mahal vs. Ryback

Ryback is in a bad mood and clubs Mahal down and then slams his head into the mat repeatedly. Overhead throw by Ryback, but Mahal back with a cheap shot and then a jumping knee strike. Misses the second and eats the spinebuster. Mahal escapes to the floor, and grabs a mic and hits Ryback. That's a DQ. Mahal runs like a bitch from Ryback.
Winner : Ryback 

Darren Young w/Titus O'Neil & AW vs. R Truth w/Kofi Kingston and Little Jimmy

Truth attacks early, delivering rights while taking Young to the corner. AW still has the ringside mic gimmick, Young battles back and off the ropes, holds on and then low bridges Truth, who flies to the floor. O'Neil beats down Truth as AW distracts the ref. 

Kofi gets involved, and AW distracts him, and throws his coat at him. AW runs, Young rolls Truth back in and as he suplexes Truth in, O'Neil trips up Truth, but Truth manages a roll up for 2. Another distraction as Kofi gets taken out, gut buster by Young and that is all.
Winner : Darren Young 

Alberto Del Rio vs. Randy Orton

Del Rio on the attack early, to the corner and kicks to Orton, and then works the arm in the ropes. Corner clothesline by Orton in the corner, another and a third connect. Orton looks for the hangman's DDT, but Del Rio counters and sends him to the apron. Kicks and a dropkick send Orton to the floor. Del Rio follows him out and slams him to the barricade.

Del Rio covers for 2. Orton with a boot to the gut and then stomps on Del Rio's head. Orton misses a knee drop, and Del Rio whips him to the corner. Run up kick to the back, and then Del Rio covers for 2. Del Rio mocks Orton, they battle in a corner, rights by Del Rio and then a whip to the corner by Del Rio. 

More boots by Del Rio, to the opposite corner and Del Rio charges in and Orton move, and Del Rio hits the steel post. Clotheslines by Orton, snap slam follows and then Orton picks up Del Rio, and gets the hangman's DDT. Orton drops to the mat, and sets for the KO. Rodriguez is in and we have a DQ finish.
